This flight consists of a one hour flight during which time the student will be introduced to the controls of the helicopter and will actually be given a chance to manipulate the controls during the flight if they desire.

Additionally, the student will have the opportunity to spend time with the instructor before and after the flight discussing questions he or she may have about helicopter training or a career in the helicopter industry.

As a token of our appreciation, at the end of the flight, the student will get a photograph of themselves with the helicopter.

The cost for this package is $250 and may be purchased in advance and presented as a gift certificate to friends or family.

When you begin your course, your flight instructor will work with you to set up a training schedule, and since all training is conducted on an individual basis it will accommodate you.

We recommend, however, that you fly as often as you can, because you will learn faster and have to repeat less if you are flying regularly. Plan on spending about equal amounts of time in flight training and ground school, and two hours of home study for each hour of ground school. If you can devote yourself completely to your training, it is possible to receive a private pilot’s license in a couple of months and a commercial license in about four months.

You will learn to fly in a new Robinson R22 Beta 2, fast becoming the most popular helicopter in the world, with growing need for entry-level pilots with R22 experience. And the savings gained by the R22’s low operating and maintenance costs are passed on to you.
